Jessie Mercer
Jessie Mae Mercer, 80 of North Little Rock, passed away February 15, 2012 in North Little Rock. She was born February 17, 1931 in Little Rock, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Carter and Charlsey Weathly- Carter.
Jessie was retired from retail sales working with Wal-Mart and she was a long-time active member of Cedar Heights Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband Harold J. Mercer, a son Johnny Ray Mercer, and her parents.
Survivors include her sons David Lee Mercer of Springdale and Steven Mercer of Plainview; two grandchildren John Mercer and Paul Steven Mercer, Jr., and wife Ashley; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 19, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. both at Cedar Heights Baptist Church in North Little Rock, burial will follow at Palastine Cemetery.
