Jewel Dean Bailey Byrd, 82, of Pine Bluff, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017. She was born June 28, 1934 to Clay and Emerline (Rainey) Bailey.
Jewel is survived by her son, Billy Charles Byrd (Cindy) of North Little Rock; daughter, Cherry Jones (Jackie) of Sheridan; 2 brothers, Clifton Bailey and Jimmy Bailey both of Benton; 4 sisters, Dorothy Wilkins of Sheridan, Betty High of Mayflower, Wilma Hughes of Memphis, Tennessee and Kay Freeman of Benton; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Jewel was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Byrd.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel, Pine Bluff, followed by the funeral at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Flat Bayou Cemetery, Altheimer, Arkansas.
