Jimmie Burleson

Jimmie Lou Burleson was born November 3, 1960 to Clint Burleson and Rachel Cooksey in Belzoni, Mississippi.  She died December 16, 2021 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  She was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and worked as a nurse.  She loved spending time with her family, nature and traveling.

She is survived by her wife, Julie Packard, of Little Rock; her son, Ford Moore (Lena), of Richland, Washington; daughter, Rachel Moore, of Kennewick, Washington; and two step-daughters, Jennifer Cossey and Rebecca Packard, both of Little Rock.  She is also survived by her mother, Rachel Burleson of Belzoni, MS; three sisters, Peggy Carpenter of Greenville, MS, Patricia Tharp (Thomas) and Teresa Holloway (Mike), both of Belzoni; and five grandchildren, Christopher Ford Moore, Camroon Biglin and Riker Moore of Richland, WA; and William Cossey and George Cossey of Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her father, Clint Burleson; and brother-in-law, Clifford Carpenter.
