Jimmie L. Graves, age 90, of Hot Springs, passed away Monday, November 28, 2022.
She was born on April 18, 1932, in Slate Springs, Mississippi, the daughter of Loyd Freshour and Mary Shinall Freshour. She was preceded in death by her parents; the love of her life, her husband of 36 years, Howard Graves; and three sisters, Minnie Collins, Dorothy Avery and Frances Freshour.
Jimmie was a Christian and a member of Piney Baptist Church. She worked for Safeway for 30 years before retiring. She will be missed by those who loved her.
She is survived by four sisters, Mary Steele of England, Arkansas, Nancy Brown of Houston, Texas, Jean Harris of Osceola, and Ann Johnson of Hot Springs; one brother, John Freshour of Lepanto; three step-daughters, Kathy Schlimgen (Terry) of Hot Springs Village, Karel Brazelton and Sharon Lee both of Flower Mound, Texas, two grandchildren, Terri Ann Holley of Hot Springs Village and Brandon Lee (Renee) of Washington, Illinois; five great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
