Jimmie Don Worthy, age 69 of Beebe, Arkansas passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026 surrounded by his family. Born on February 16, 1957 in Warren, AR to Georgia Belle Church and Edward Eugene Worthy.
He is survived by his children Amanda (Sam) Owen's, Dana (Shawn) O'Brien, Matthew Hughes, and McKenzie (Nick) Mason, a vast number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many friends.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, aunt, brother, and numerous great grandchildren.
Jimmie lived his life as a father and a Lithographer for the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, then went to work at Peerless Engraving, where he worked for over 20 years, until they closed. He then went to work for the Daily Citizen where he retired from. In his retirement he spent his life as a grandfather or as everyone loved to call him "Paw-Paw” and living a life of relaxation.
Visitation will be Thursday March 12, 2026 at 12 p.m. at The Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Beebe, AR followed by the funeral at 1 p.m. Graveside to follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens in Beebe, AR. Arrangements by Smith Westbrook Funeral Home. Online guestbook: www.smithfamilycares.com
