Jimmy Melvin Heavrin, 83, of Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 22, 2024. Jimmy was born in Horatio, Arkansas to Charlie and Mattie Heavrin on June 20, 1941. He grew up in Lake Village, Arkansas. Where he and Preston Miller loved hunting, fishing, frog gigging and many more adventures.
He married the love of his life, Judy Crook on November 18, 1961. Jimmy thrived in the construction industry with his company, “Heavrin Construction”. He went on creating the legacy of not only teaching his children and grandchildren, but a multitude of others to run heavy equipment and how to work hard.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Judy Carole Heavrin of 63 years. Four of six sons, Sam (Tish) Heavrin of Little Rock, Jimmy (Deanna) Heavrin of Benton, Chancey Heavrin of Paragould, Justin (Mandy) Heavrin of Little Rock. Two daughters, Tonya (Michael) Francis of Paragould, and Zoey Heavrin of Little Rock. He was also blessed with 14 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren. A multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
Jimmy is proceeded in death by his parents, Two sons, Baby Justin Heavrin (17) and Luke Belcher (31) both of Little Rock. Two brothers, Marvin Ebert of Gun Barrell City, Texas and Charles R. Heavrin of Jacksonville. Three sisters, Margret Kelly, Clovis Barnhart, and Christine all of Little Rock, along with other loved ones.
Jimmy was and is truly loved and blessed!
