Jimmy U. Rasberry

Jimmy U. Rasberry, age 73, of Norman, died Wednesday, February 4, 2015. He was born on October 5, 1941, in Norman, the son of Hollis Uhal Rasberry and Frankie Lee West Rasberry. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, having served eight years; and was a retired store clerk. He was a member of the Norman First Baptist Church and the VFW. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he dearly loved his family and friends. He is survived by his son, Danny Rasberry of Idabel, Oklahoma; two granddaughters; one great-grandson; his sister, Faye Rasberry Resor of Norman; his nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. It was Jimmy's wishes that no formal services be held. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
