Joan Marie Gilmore, a hardworking and kind-hearted individual, peacefully passed away on November 1, 2023, at the Presbyterian Village in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on November 11, 1939, in Maynard, Massachusetts. Joan's loving nature and dedication to her profession have left a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Joan's passion for caring for others led her to pursue a career in nursing. She earned her RN from St. Vincent's School of Nursing, where she cultivated the skills and knowledge that would define her professional journey. Joan's commitment to providing the best possible care to her patients was unparalleled. Her warm and welcoming demeanor made her a favorite among both patients and colleagues alike.

Family meant the world to Joan, who cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her father, John Koziara, and mother, Eva Rakrey Koziara. Although saddened by their loss, Joan's surviving sister Carolyn Larsen Hanson finds comfort in the memories they shared together.

Joan Marie Gilmore will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched throughout the years. Her unwavering dedication to caring for others serves as an invaluable inspiration for us all.
