Joan Reaves

Joan E. Reaves, 79, of Benton, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord December 18, 2025. She was born October 2, 1946, in Beebe, Arkansas to Jessie and Faye Spears. Joan was a homemaker and a Baptist, and loved to deal in antiques, having antique booths for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Billy Reaves of Benton; four children, Cheryl (Eddie) Harrison of Bryant, Steven Reaves of Dallas, Texas, Kenneth Reaves of Little Rock, and Kristi (John) Deaton of Evening Shade. She was known as Nana by four grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jerry Spears.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be missed by all.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W. Dewitt Henry Dr., Beebe. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Hebron Cemetery. Online guestbook at www.smithfamilycares.com
