Joe Dixon

Joe Douglas Dixon, age 89, of Arkadelphia, died Saturday, September 19, 2020 at StoneBridge Senior Living in Cabot.  He was born February 27, 1931 to the late Willie and Vera Mae (Smith) Dixon in Curtis Junction.  He is also preceded in death by his wife, Melvie Jane (Fulton) Dixon; one son, Mack Dixon; one brother, Cleo Dixon; and three sisters: Annie Jenkins, Bessie Ligon and Clara Hawbaker.

Joe is survived by his son: Charlie Dixon (Anna) of Cabot; daughters: Pam Little (Chris) of Vilonia and Pat Allen (Mike) of Austin; brother, Tom Dixon (Maryann) of Texarkana; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 12 PM Thursday, September 24, 2020 in the Richland Cemetery near Gum Springs. There will be no formal visitation.
