Joe Ann Marks, 72, of Maumelle, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2006. She is survived by three daughters: Rita New (Ricky) of Maumelle; Kennie Birch (Phillip) of Monticello; and Jerry Jean Byrd of Little Rock; grandchildren, Christopher New (Tricia Larson), Vikki Hudgens (Devon), Jeremy New, Dale Edward Priest, Jared Byrd, Brook Lynn Marks, all of Little Rock; and Mike Birch (Becky) of Austin, TX; and great-grandson, Joseph Birch of Austin, TX. Her son, Courtney Marks, and grandson, Phillip Birch, preceded her in death.
She was a member of St. Andrews Methodist Church and affiliated with the Pioneer Club.
Visitation will be on Friday, August 11, 2006, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Court (NW corner of I-630 and Barrow Road), Little Rock. A Memorial Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 12, 2006, at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. George Yarberry. Interment will be in Olive Hill Cemetery.
