Joe B. Wilson, 84, of North Little Rock, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2009. He was born October 31, 1924 in Tuckerman, Arkansas to the late Ruben A. and Sophia Lindley Wilson. He was a member of Big Rock Masonic Lodge 633, Scottish Rite and Scimitar Shrine Temple.
He is survived by his daughter, Delia ?Dea? Wilson of Vilonia; son, John W. Horner, wife Kathy of North Little Rock; brothers, Sam Wilson of Vilonia, Tom Wade, wife, Barbara, of Clovis New Mexico, R. A. Wilson and wife, Adeline, of Tuckerman and Jessie Wilson and wife, Angie, of Pontiac, Michigan; sister, Wanda Lauderbaugh of Oregon; grandchildren, Debbie, Sharon, Deann, Jonna, Shalenia; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 45 years, Reola Williams Wilson; six brothers; and five sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 12:30 to 2:00 P.M. Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170.
