John Lennon Anderson, age 43, of Amity, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026.

He was born on September 3, 1982. John was the son of Billy Don Anderson. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Kay Spencer; his paternal grandparents, Donald Ray and Shirley Anderson; his uncle, James Wilder; and the mother of his daughter Precious, Ashley Aubrey.

John was a Christian in his faith. He was a true jack-of-all trades, an outdoorsman, and had the biggest giving heart. He loved hunting and fishing. John loved his dogs like his children. Most of all he loved being a father. To know John was to love him. John was a loving son, father, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his father, Billy Don Anderson; his three daughters, Precious Anderson, Nichole Anderson, and Dana Anderson; his granddaughter, Nova; his siblings, Misty Howell, Brandon (Melissa) Anderson, his cousin who he held a special bond with that was unmatched Chenoa (Austin) Ramsey; his nieces and nephews, Amy, Carter, Cayden, Peyton, Austin, Kaylee, Allison, Harper, Emma, and Maddox; his aunts and uncles, Don Anderson, Glenda Hart, and D.J. Anderson; his cousins, Jeremy (Natasha) Anderson, Shannen Newson, Deana Keener, and Mitchell Rich; and many loving extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel- Glenwood.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel- Glenwood.

Cremation Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home- Glenwood.
