John Archer
John Archer (Johnny) 61, of Little Rock passed away January 19, 2013. He was born on July 6, 1951 to Leon and Mildred Archer. John retired as the Maintenance Supervisor at Good Shepherd after 30 years of service and was beginning his second career at Camp Robinson. He was also devoted to his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Karla Archer; son, Jonathan Archer (Lisa); daughter, Amanda Archer Tollison (Dwayne); mother, Mildred Fears; brother, Coleman Archer (Deloris) of Texas; sister, Mary Zigmont (Bob) of OK; grandchildren, Salavdor, Emily, David Ray, and Jonathan Paul Archer, Tyce Bentley and Caleb Jesse Tollison. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, David Archer and sister-in-law, Candy Archer.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 25 at Little Rock Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Zigmont officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 24 at the funeral home.
