John Greg Baltz

John Greg Baltz passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 73.

He was born in Pocahontas, AR on June 20, 1953. John graduated from St. Paul’s High School in Pocahontas, AR and became a Master Electrician for City Plumbing. He married his devoted wife, Cloretta Wolf, on April, 15, 2015. They shared many decades of fond memories together in love, faith, and fellowship. John was a proud member of St Mary of the Springs Catholic Church in Hot Springs, AR and was a dedicated music coordinator with his wife for the prayer group there. John will be remembered by all for his dedication to his family, friends, and his church community.

He will be remembered with love by his wife, Cloretta Wolf, and by the family they shared together with her seven children. Those who carry his memory forward include a son John Wolf of Hot Springs, Arkansas; a daughter Mylissa Thompson and her husband, Chip Thompson, of Celina, Texas; a daughter Teresa Lee and her husband, Steven Lee, of Alexander, Arkansas; a daughter Amanda Dennett and her husband, Dr. Travis Dennett, of McKinney, Texas; a son Vincent Wolf and his wife, Paige Wolf, of Hot Springs, Arkansas; a son Daniel Wolf and his wife, Andrea Wolf, of Frisco, Texas; and a daughter Mary Lacy and her husband, Joseph Lacy, of Dallas, Texas. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren will also miss his presence.

He is also survived by his brothers, Dan Baltz of Ozark, Missouri, and Dr. Mark Baltz of Conway, Arkansas, and by his sister, Margaret Baltz-Darling of Carlisle, Massachusetts. Their lives, along with the lives of his extended family and friends, were touched by his presence and will continue to reflect his memory.John was preceded in death by his father, Ed Baltz, and his mother, Katherine Baltz, both of Pocahontas, Arkansas, as well as by his brother, Tim Baltz of Indiana. He now rests among those family members who went before him.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on September 5, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.at St Mary of the Springs Catholic Church, 100 Central Ave, Hot Springs, Arkansas. Rosary will begin at 10:30 a.m. and a funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St Mary of the Springs Catholic Church.

John Greg Baltz will be remembered with affection by those who knew him and with gratitude by the family who shared in his life. May his memory bring comfort and peace to all who mourn his passing.
