John Henry Caples, age 65, of Ward, Arkansas was born August 20, 1947 to Herbert and Mary Caples and died July 25, 2013.
John is a retired truck driver of 43 years for JB Hunt Trucking. He is a member of Mt. Arratt Baptist Church. John served as a Marine in the Vietnam War and really enjoyed fishing.
John is survived by his wife of twenty one years, Evangeline (Smith) Caples; four sons, Howard and wife, Devona, Jessie Caples, Sean Smith, Dylan Caples; two daughters, Gloria Thompson and husband, Keith and Sharon Caples; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother, Robert Caples and wife, Nadean; two sisters, Mary Rayburn and husband, Phillip and Betty Hopkins and husband, Roy and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Sister, Anne Haskell and one brother, Jessie Caples.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Funeral to follow at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Mt. Arratt Baptist Church, Beebe, with burial in Old Austin Cemetery.
