John “Mike” Davis, 66, of Bryant, Arkansas, peacefully passed away on June 10, 2025. He was born on January 24, 1959, in Little Rock, Arkansas, and leaves behind a legacy defined by loyalty, hard work, and unwavering love for his family.

Mike spent over 25 years working as an ANSUL system technician for Metropolitan Fire Extinguisher. He was known for his dedication to his craft and his strong work ethic, but it was his devotion to his loved ones that truly defined him.

Family was at the center of Mike’s life. He especially cherished time spent in Panama City, Florida, where memories were made through laughter, sunshine, and togetherness. He was a proud and present grandfather, always supporting his grandkids in whatever they pursued. From cheering at Leslie and Haley’s softball games (including Haley at the Softball World Series) and Brynn’s soccer matches, to hearing about London’s golf games, admiring Jagger’s architectural drawings, and celebrating Jayden’s milestones in band and Josh’s advances in karate, Mike never missed a moment. If his grandkids were involved, he was all in.

Mike also had a deep passion for auto racing. He could often be found at I-30 Speedway or traveling to the IMCA Nationals in Boone, Iowa. Whether working on racecars or spending time with his racing buddies Charlie and Drew Armstrong, he was happiest around the track.

Mike is survived by his wife of 35 years, Joanie Davis; his daughters, Haley (Colton) Giffin and Leslie (Michael) Suggs; his son, Robert (Tamie) Albert; grandchildren: Beauen, Jagger, London, Josh, Brynn, and Jayden; his sister, Cindy (Tony) Huffman; nephews T.J., Kody, Michael, and Harley; niece April; his best friend, Charlie Armstrong; and his loyal dog, Maurice.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Maurice and Loyette Adele Davis, and his sister, Tamela Shosey.
