John Eidson, 54, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, May 10, 2007. He was a former member of the A.O.A., a member of the Knights of Columbus, an avid gardener and was a substitute teacher.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Bailey Eidson, of North Little Rock; sister, Judy Dillon, of Little Rock; nephew, Michael Dillon, of North Little Rock; Muffin? and ?Bubba? and a host of numerous family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thermon and Rosalie Eidson; grandparents, Ira and Ruby Eidson.
Family will gather at the home of Vivian Bailey.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Prostate Cancer Foundation, 1910 N. Grant, Ste. 1A, Little Rock, Arkansas 72207, C.A.R.E., P.O. Box 251156, Little Rock, Arkansas 72225 or to the Soup Kitchen at the Friendly Chapel Church of the Nazarene, 116 South Pine Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72114.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. A committal service will be held 2:00 P.M., at New Hope Cemetery in Dardanelle. Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M., Sunday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.northlittlerockfuneralhome.com.
