John I. Johnson, 80, of Jacksonville passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2006. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Johnson (Peggy), of Jacksonville; son, Irvin Lee (Michelle) Johnson, of Jacksonville and their two children; three stepdaughters; two stepsons; eleven step grandchildren; sixteen step great-grandchildren; one step great-great-grandchild; sister, Katherine Folmar; brother, Clemie Johnson, both of Goshen, Alabama and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Clyde Johnson.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veteran Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.northlittlerockfuneralhome.com.
