A proud graduate of Hot Springs High School, John furthered his education at Henderson University, laying a foundation that supported his earnest commitment to his work and family throughout his life. His career, devoted to the maintenance of the City of Hot Springs, reflected his steadfast dedication and reliability, traits that earned him the respect and appreciation of colleagues and neighbors alike.

John's life was enriched by his close-knit family. He is survived by his brother, Henry Rex Kingery of Hot Springs, and beloved nephews Lance and Eric of Lincoln, Nebraska, as well as Joseph Kingery of Hot Springs, Arkansas. His nieces, Susanna Crow of Bismark, Arkansas, and Roxanna Kingery of Hot Springs, also carry forward his memory with fondness and respect.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Doyle Kingery and Esther Kingery, whose memories he cherished dearly. He also mourned the loss of his brother, David Kingery, and sister, Virginia Hunter, who join their parents in resting.

John’s passing marks the end of a chapter for a man who lived with integrity and a sense of duty to his community and family. His warm presence and steadfast spirit will be remembered fondly by those who had the privilege to know him, and his legacy will remain an enduring part of Hot Springs.
