John H. Manasco, age 84 of Benton, passed away October 13, 2013 at Fort Roots. He was born on May 15, 1929 in Beebe, Arkansas; he was the son of Louis Frank Manasco and Bertha Manasco.
Mr. Manasco was a United States Army Veteran of WWII a member of the VFW and American Legion.
He is preceded in death by his sons John H. Manasco Jr. and David Louis Manasco.
Survivors include his children Sheila Standley, Tammy Harrison and Jeff Manasco and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, October 18, 2013 at Huson Funeral Home at 7700 Hwy 107 in Sherwood, Arkansas, with burial following at 1:00 p.m. at Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery in North Little Rock.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. Manasco's memory to the US Department of Veterans' Affairs Volunteer Services.
