John L. Norris, of Little Rock, died July 30,2026. John was born July 13, 1953 in Gurdon, Arkansas, the only child of the late LM and Sissy Norris. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marijo Norris, and their two sons Ryan and Eric.

John was a pharmacist for 40 years, spending 37 of those years with Baptist Medical Towers at Little Rock. He was instrumental in the opening of the first Starbucks in Arkansas, located inside the hospital. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy from Northeast Louisiana University, Monroe. If you knew John, you knew he loved the game of golf. While in college at UALR, he played on the golf team. He would include a round of golf on any vacation he ever went on and often would select the destination because of its golf course.

A visitation will be held on Thursday August 6th starting at 4 p.m, following by a memorial service at 5 pm at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home.
