John Patton, 78 of Lonoke, died Friday, December 3, 2010.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Karen Hill (James) of Little Rock, and Brenda Walter (John) of Stonewall, Louisiana; 3 sons, Tommy Davenport (Carla) of Lonoke, Gary Patton (Elizabeth) of Kinston, North Carolina, and Butch Davenport of Atlanta, Georgia; 2 sisters, Patsy Yarberry of North Little Rock, and Dorothy Robinson (Jim) of Birta, Arkansas; 14 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jean Patton; 3 sons, Johnny Keith Patton, Steven Patton, and Stephen Davenport; and a number of brothers and sisters.
John was retired after 32 years of service at 3M. He was a Korean War veteran, and was also an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday at Arkansas Memorial Gardens.
