John Peterson

John Ross Peterson, beloved son of Fonda Peterson, died February 17, 2016. In addition to his mother he is survived by his sister Manya Otis, (George), niece Amber Otis all of Jackson, Michigan. He is also survived by his aunts, Katie Gibbins Whitfield (Elwood), Nancy Reedy Zeller (Harold), numerous cousins and two special friends, Barbara Keneally of Merritt Island, Florida and Terry Hardy of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He loved First Assembly of God Church and his many friends there as well as his new friends at Parkstone Place.

Ross was preceded in death by his father, John W. Peterson and his four-legged friend, Mon Cherie.

Ross was born in Houston, Texas, September 23, 1955. He spent his early years in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he graduated from Memorial High School. He then went on to graduate from Oklahoma State University Technical School, Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Later Ross came to live with his mother.

A memorial service will be held at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Guest register at www.SmithFamilyCares.com
