John J. Rittermann, age 72 died Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at the Advance Care Hospital in Hot Springs. He was born Oct 4, 1933 in Baltimore, Maryland the son of the late Herman P. and Barbara Ruth Taylor Rittermann. He was a retired U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam. He was a member of the Lions Club of Bismarck, St. Mary's Catholic Church and a volunteer at the Clark Co. Senior Citizens Center. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Duke Rittermann.
Survivors include one son, Nathaniel David Rittermann of Arkadelphia; two daughters, Leslie Urban of Bismarck and Nancy Lynn Wilson of Arkadelphia; one brother, Herman P. Rittermann of Baltimore, Maryland; five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 PM Wednesday in Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel with Robert Feighl officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bismarck Lions Club and Clark Co. Senior Citizens Meals on Wheels Program.
