John C. "Buddy" Wiess, 84, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013. He was born November 21, 1928 in Maulden, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Mary Wiess; brothers, Jim and Bob; and sister, Charolette. He is survived by his wife, Sheron; daughters, Debbie and John Poe, Misty and Will Doubrava, Brook and Long Tong; Liz and Kenny Hill; sons, Chad and Chris; brother, Bill and Sue Wiess; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, 320 Executive Court, Ste. 104, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205 or Charity of Choice.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home.
