Johnnie Edmondson

Johnnie Wesley Edmondson, 88, of Jacksonville passed away Sunday, April 3, 2011. He was born October 19, 1922 in Houston, Arkansas to the late William C. and Nora Bell Davis Edmondson. He was retired from Operating Engineers and was a member for 42 years. He was also a member of Four Square Church and a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ofreda (Tarkington) Edmondson, of Jacksonville; brother, Aubory Edmondson, of Camden; sister, Ruth Boyette, of Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday at Ouachita Cemetery, Donaldson, Arkansas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
