Johnnie Ruth Aldridge

Johnnie Ruth Aldridge, aged 96, passed from this life on January 20, 2026 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born on April 27, 1929 in Lefors, Texas to parents Byron and Argie (Ewing) Phillips. She was married to Andy F. Aldridge for over 66 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Andy F. Aldridge; brother, Vernon Williamson; sister, Wilma Fay Rogers; and great grandson Shawn Phillip Smith.

She is survived by two sons, John Phillip Aldridge and wife Mary of Conway and Stephen Andrew Aldridge and wife Susie of Springdale; four grandchildren, Ashley Smith (Brian) of Conway, Joshua Aldridge (Nicole) of Conway, Bobby Aldridge (Tammy) of Ft. Smith and Stephanie Luttrell (Mike) of Springdale; nine great grandchildren, Clayton, Jackson, Taylor (Michael), Heidi, Drew, Whitney, Andrew, Skylar and Kyla and sister in law Margaret Williamson and four nieces.

Ruth was an active member of Park Hill Baptist Church until her health declined. She was a member of the Gideons Auxiliary of Gideons International and a faithful support member of Wycliffe Bible Translators.

Pallbearers will be: Josh Aldridge, Drew Aldridge, Bobby Aldridge, Mike Luttrell, Brian Smith, and Jackson Smith. 

Funeral service will be held at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
