Johnny Nathan Douglas Sr.

Johnny Nathan Douglas Sr. lost his battle with cancer and departed his earthly home to be with this heavenly father on May 9th, 2023. Johnny was born in Little Rock Arkansas to the late Thurman L Douglas and Helen Childress Douglas on February 11th, 1950.

Johnny was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed camping, boating, hunting, and fishing. Being on the lake or in the woods with family was a great and happy time for him. Johnny was an outgoing person; he never met a stranger and always had a story to tell. Johnny was the owner of J&G Termite Company that operated in the central Arkansas area for over 20 years. When his children were younger, you would find him on the softball and baseball fields. He coached for many years and loved watching the games.

Left behind to cherish his memory, the love of his life, his wife of 54 years Gwendolyn “Gwen” Douglas. Daughters Shelly (Kyle) Page and Allison (Jon) Albert, Son Johnny (Kim) Douglas Jr. Grandchildren Rachael (Nick) Elmore, Alivia Page, Emily (Keith) Ledbetter, Nathan Albert, Jack Albert, Gracie Douglas, Piper Douglas, Wes Harvey, and Wyatt Harvey. Great Grandchildren Hunter Elmore, Natalie Elmore, Waylon Ledbetter, and Weston Ledbetter. He also leaves behind his faithful companion, Sophia, his Jack Russell of 15 years.
