Johnny Lee Neese, age 78, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, born March 18, 1947 to Vera Juanita Rush and Vestal Eugene (Buck) Neese in Alvin, Texas. Passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 27, 2025 due to a lengthy illness, with his loving wife, Patricia by his side.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Vera; father, "Buck"; and brother, David Neese.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Patricia "McCauley" Neese; one son, Chance Neese of Houston, Texas; a special cousin, Teri Boyd and husband Brent; Step children, Candice Cox (Chris), Justin Crabtree (Jessilyn), Matthew Crabtree (Brittney); and a host of wonderful family and friends.
Johnny spent twenty-one years in the Police Force in the Dallas area tirelessly serving his community. Later in life he retired from driving over sized loads as a Commercial Vehicle Operator after spending many years behind the wheel. He loved riding his Harley, going to car shows, motorcycle rallys, and he also enjoyed hunting and fishing as he could take that time to enjoy the serenity and admire the nature that was surrounding him.
Johnny was truly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him throughout his life.
Funeral services will be held at the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood on Saturday, September 6, 2025. Visitation will begin at 10:00am with the service to follow at 11:00am. Interment will be held at the Ebenezer Cemetery in Kirby, Arkansas.
