Johnny Lyle Poole, 65, of Little Rock, passed away May 6, 2013. He was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma to James Willard Poole, Sr. and Mary Hanifan Poole, and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He is survived by his children, daughter, Ginger Alexander (David), son, John Troy Poole, daughter, Lori Kirchner (Matt), all of Little Rock, and daughter, Sarah Turner (Andrew) of Navarre, Florida; brother, James Poole, Jr. of Maryland; sisters, Janis Sperry (Tim) of Carson City, Nevada, Barbara Follis (Dee) of Edmond, Oklahoma and Billie Kingham of Florida; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 9 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be held on Friday, May 10 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Dr. Bob Dunaway. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ALS Association, Attn. Grant Program, 1200 W.
