Jon M. Black

Jon M. Black, age 78, of Norman, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018. He was born on July 11, 1940 in Columbia, Washington, the son of Lucian Black and Esther Horn Black. On November 26, 1986, he was married to Kwin Roberts. He was a cattle and poultry farmer and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Norman United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Kwin Black; two sons, Jon Cameron Black and Jon Curtis Black, all of Norman; eight siblings, Norma Duke of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Joan Black of Mena, Terry Black of Norman, Mary Beth Lysobey of Norman, Kathy Kubler of Benton, Mark C. Black of Uvalde, Texas, Becky Floyd of Mena and Kim Meeks of Mena; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 17, 2018, in the Barr Memorial Presbyterian Church with Rev. Chris Hemund officiating.
