Jordanne Elizabeth Drinkwater, a beloved member of the Conway, Arkansas community, tragically passed away on March 31, 2026. Born in Conway on June 17, 1993, Jordanne’s life was a beautiful testament to love, kindness, and fierce devotion to those she cherished.
Jordanne graduated from Conway High School in 2011, where her vibrant personality made her memorable to both classmates and teachers. Known affectionately as “Mother Hen,” she embraced this role with warmth and determination and was deeply protective of her loved ones. Jordanne's exuberant spirit and bubbly personality filled every room she entered. She was sweet, sincere, and a genuine ray of sunshine to all who knew her.
For 13 years, Jordanne found her calling and passion serving as an associate at Wal- Mart. During her time there, she transformed simple customer interactions into meaningful connections, turned strangers into friends, and turned friends into family. Her unwavering dedication and infectious positivity were traits that made her dearly loved by all who crossed her path.
Jordanne showed the same dedication to her many hobbies. She was a lover of photography, honing her skills through self-study with pride. She was an avid reader and she reveled in the worlds of comic-cons, Star Wars, and magic. A proud Hufflepuff, Jordanne’s obsession with Harry Potter was a meaningful part of her identity. And above all, she delighted in finding the perfect gift for those she treasured, always showing her love through thoughtful gestures.
Fond memories of Jordanne also reflect her thoughtfulness. One vivid memory recalls a long car ride during her pre-teen years, when she promised to protect her sisters Jill and Annie in the event of a fire- a touching example of her innate care and courage. Her midnight birthday calls, just to be the first to wish loved ones well, were moments treasured by her grandmother Donna. And in high school, when given the choice of any dress for her senior year, Jordanne chose a bright yellow dress that perfectly matched her sunny disposition. Even in challenging times, such as when she cared for her brother after a scooter accident at Disney World, her willingness to support and nurture those around her never wavered.
Jordanne’s family was her biggest source of pride. She often quoted the Disney movie Lilo and Stitch “Ohana means family; family means no one is left behind or forgotten.” This belief guided her life and infused every relationship she held dear.
She was loved by her mother and stepfather Heather and Jason Lemon; her father and stepmother Drew and Mysti Drinkwater; her siblings Jillian, Annaliese, Silas, Wyatt, and Ben; and her grandparents Mike and Carole Drinkwater, Vicky and James Bonds, Greg and Donna Rountree, and Larry and Vickie Lemon. She is also remembered fondly by her extended family including aunts and uncles Mary, Scott, Greg, Caleb, Dever, Jamison Jeremy, Brian, Rachel, Laura, and James, and her cousins Natalie, Olivia, Jameson, and Rowan Norman. She will be especially missed by her devoted partner of 14 years, Joe Storto.
Jordanne’s life was interwoven with the values instilled by the church families in which she grew up. She lived those teachings daily, embodying kindness, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to serving others.
A visitation to honor Jordanne will be held on April 17, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas. This will be followed by a memorial service at the City Church Conway on April 18, 2026, beginning at 1:00 PM.
Though Jordanne was taken home far too soon, she will always be present in the hearts of all who knew her. As Dumbledore, a character from her favorite book series by J.K. Rowling, said “Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if only one remembers to turn on the light.” Jordanne has left all of us with one of the greatest gifts one can offer the world; a bright, warm, and enduring light.
In memory of Jordanne, the family requests you wear something green.
