Joseph Van Duyse, Jr. of North Little Rock, Arkansas, died Wednesday, December 7, 2016. He was a veteran of World War II, a Lieutenant Colonel, United States Army, Retired, and a member of St. Andrew's Cathedral Parrish of Little Rock.
In retirement, Mr. Van Duyse chose ballroom dance as a hobby, and as a student of Fred Astair Dance Studios, participated in numerous regional and national dance competitions.
He is survived by his devoted and faithful friends of many years, Paul and Christie Cox of North Little Rock and their son Rob and daughter Katherine Paige, & Chris and Melia Barcal and Dick and Liz Heil of North Little Rock, Glenn and Betty Eddins of Little Rock and Freddy and Christa Massanet of Vilonia.
Visitation will be 9:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. Friday December 9, 2016 followed by rosary.
Funeral Mass will be held at the Cathedral of St. Andrew's, 617 Louisiana Street, Little Rock, Arkansas at 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 9, 2016 with final rites and interment at Calvary Cemetery, Little Rock following.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cathedral of St. Andrew's Building Fund or favorite charity.
