Joseph Griffith, Jr

Joseph D. Griffith, Jr., 59, of Monroe, Louisiana passed away November 16, 2017. He was born in Richmond, Virginia to the late Joseph D. Sr. and Mae Carolyn Griffith. He was a member of the Whites Ferry Road Church of Christ. Joe loved the outdoors, hiking the Appalachian Trail, spontaneous camping trips and going to the beach. He enjoyed cooking and baking, especially for his family. He could never pass up a good deal, his bargaining motto was, "What's the lowest you will take?" He valued always telling the truth and trusting in God to provide for him and his family. Joe passed on life skills to his children such as home and car repair, piano, and swimming. He was proud of them and often used the phrase "Y'all are good kids."
Survivors include his children: Joseph Timothy, Rachel Anna, Mary Elizabeth, David Michael (Victoria), Sarah Grace, Hannah Ruth, Jonathan Luke Griffith; and their mother, Connie Griffith Hinzman; siblings: Donna VanHyning (Mark) and Robert Griffith (Kim); and other extended family.
