Joseph "Joe" Troy Campbell

Joseph ‘Joe’ Troy Campbell, age 72, of Benton, went to be with God on Friday, February 10, 2023. Joe

was born on October 24, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois.

Joe was a tremendous husband, son, brother, father and grandfather. Joe graduated from Catholic High

School in 1968 and furthered his education at the University of Arkansas. Joe had an uncanny ability to

strike up a conversation with just about anyone. This led to a lengthy career in sales. From insurance to

cars, Joe always built strong personal relationships with customers and colleagues.

Joe was a member at Northside Church of Christ for more than 35 years. He thoroughly enjoyed deep

discussions about his biblical studies and personal journey in faith. Outside of church, Joe loved golf,

sports commentating, cooking, Rush Limbaugh, the Razorbacks, road-tripping and nature. Joe was

excited about an upcoming trip to Alaska with the love of his life, Kathy. His passion for his friends and

family will be missed by anyone that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leon ‘Muscles’ Campbell; his son, Matthew Campbell; and his

sister, Robin Burrow.

Joe was survived by his wife, Kathy Ditmore Campbell; his son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Dana

Campbell; his daughter and son-in-law, Cristin and Boyd Goodner; his grandchildren, Gray and Elliott

Goodner; his mother, Patsy Campbell; his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Linda Campbell and

Pat and Teena Campbell; his sister, Rita Kordsmeier; his sister and brother-in-law, Gwen and Wendell

Simpson; his aunt and uncle, Rita and Terry Allen and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family

members and friends.

Joe’s visitation will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2023, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM,

at Northside Church of Christ, 917 N East Street Benton, AR 72015. His funeral service will be

 held Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Northside Church of Christ,

 917 N East Street Benton, AR 72015.
