Joseph Wesley Purtle, a hardworking man who dedicated his life to metal fabrication, has passed away at the age of 59 on December 26, 2023. Born on May 9, 1964, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, Joseph was a remarkable individual who left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. With a passion for solitude and a quiet demeanor, he found solace in the simple pleasures of life.

Joseph's journey began in Bryant High School, where he not only excelled academically but also thrived in the realm of sports. As an active participant in the school's football and track teams, he showcased his tenacity and determination. These qualities became a hallmark of his character and were manifested throughout his life.

Following graduation, Joseph embarked on a career in metal fabrication—a path that would become his livelihood. Known for his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment, he poured his heart and soul into every project he undertook.

Beyond the realm of work, Joseph found joy in various hobbies that brought him closer to nature. As a hunter, he reveled in the thrill of adventure as he explored the great outdoors. Additionally, Joseph harbored an ardent love for football; his loyalty lay with both the Razorbacks and the Dallas Cowboys. He could often be found cheering on his beloved teams from the comfort of his living room.

Preceding Joseph in death is his daughter, Sarah Purtle.

Among those mourning this profound loss are Joseph's daughter Elizabeth Spencer and husband Matthew of Benton, Arkansas; his mother, Phyllis Loftis, and husband Ray of Bryant, Arkansas; his cherished granddaughter Emma Gene Spencer; as well as his brothers Ronald Purtle and Jack Loftis, both from Benton, Arkansas. His sister Malisa Purtle of Benton, Arkansas also mourns the passing of her dear brother. In addition to his immediate family, Joseph leaves behind an extensive network of relatives and friends whose lives were forever enriched by his gentle spirit.
