Joshua Aaron Nicholas, 23, of Little Rock, entered Heaven's gate November 28, 2016 at the
National Institute of Health surrounded by loved ones. Joshua graduated from Lakeside High in
Hot Springs, AR and went on to continue his education at Pulaski Technical College.
Joshua loved his wife Lauren with all his heart, was a devoted son and absolutely adored his
brothers. He also cared very much about his fur babies, Luna(cat) and Cooper(dog).
Josh was a very dedicated hard worker, working predominately in sales. He was a team leader
in sales at the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and Little Rock Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Lauren Nicholas; mother, Melissa Pickard Nicholas of Little Rock;
father, Stephen Nicholas of Benton; aunt, Jera Batterton (Chris) of Little Rock; brothers, Ethan
and Eli Nicholas of Hot Springs; godson, Carter Kelly; and other relatives and friends. He was
preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Pickard, and great-grandmother and greatgrandfather, Florence and Samuel Nicholas.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 9 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801
Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Saturday, December 10 at 10:00
a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Rod Loy, followed by interment at Rest Hills
Memorial Park in North Little Rock. Memorials may be made to the Children's Inn at the
National Institute of Health, www.childrensinn.org or the Humane Society of Pulaski County.
