He was born on November 17, 1996, in Hot Springs.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Apolinar Gonzalez and aunt, Julieanna Bates Gonzalez.

Josue was a graduate of Caddo Hills High School, where he participated and excelled in sports as a two-time state champion.  He had also attended National Park College and was employed with Hot Springs Residential where he was a skilled craftsman.

Josue truly enjoyed playing any kind of sports or physical activity, and his competitiveness would never allow him to lose.  He enjoyed being the family trendsetter and always being the best dressed at any family function.  Our greatest memory of Josue is his smile, it would brighten up any room he would walk into and always made you feel welcomed and loved.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
