LaQuietta “Joy” Cain Harvey Reynolds passed peacefully, surrounded by family, on March 26, at the age of 90.
She was born August 31, 1935 (or 1938 if you asked her), in Hot Springs, Arkansas, the only child of the late W.C. Mann and Ella Washington Mann. After her mother’s untimely passing, she was blessed with a very special stepmother, Rosa Lee Mann.
Joy carried herself with a spirited grace, rarely seen without being perfectly put together, and lived life like the Queen she truly was – confident, stylish, and unforgettable. She served her church most of her life, including 35 years of playing the piano.
In addition to her parents, Joy was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years, and the father of her remarkable children, Billy Joe Cain; her second husband, Earl Harvey; and her great-granddaughter, Briley Faith Turner.
Joy was a proud mother, cherished Memom/Gran, and wife. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
Joy is survived by her loving husband, Don Reynolds; Son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Anita Cain; Daughters and their husbands, Robyn and Troy Fleeman, and Randa and Craig Cowart. She is also survived by her seven loving grandchildren, whom she adored: two grandsons, Brandon Fleeman (Cherie) and Bryce Fleeman; and five granddaughters, Shanda Long, Crystal Turner (Josh), Bree Russell (Andrew), Caina Luster (Jaylan), and Caytlee Runnels (Colin).
She is further survived by eight great-grandchildren: Cara Miller, Jude Turner, Reid Turner, Tyler Long, Abbott Turner, Cooper Russell, Camden Russell, and Caroline Russell.
There will be a Memorial Service held in honor of Joy’s life, Friday, April 3, 2026, officiated by Scott Bates. The service will be held at Centerfork Missionary Baptist Church, with a Visitation starting at 9am, and a memorial service to follow immediately after.
