Joyce M. Floyd age 65 of the Fendley Community near Amity died Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at her home. She was born February 21, 1947 in Arkadelphia, the daughter of the late Elmer and Lennie Still Kirksey. Joyce and her late husband, Don operated a farm for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Don E. Floyd on December 29, 2010, one brother, Elton Kirksey, and brother-in-law, Jackie Robertson.
Survivors are one daughter, Tammy Floyd of Fendley; four sisters, Velma Jones and husband, John D. of Chester, Virginia, Shirley Harrah and husband, Bill of Mechanicsville, Maryland, Sandy Klar and husband, Leon of Hooks, Texas and Martha Robertson of Fendley.
Memorial graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 11th at Oak Grove Cemetery with Ralph Hemund officiating. There will no formal visitation.
Memorials may be made to the Oak Grove Cemetery Fund P. O. Box 195 Amity, AR. 71921.
