Joyce Reveley Oliver of Little Rock, age 95, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 21, 1930, in Ward, Arkansas, Joyce lived a life characterized by kindness, strength, and an unwavering love for her family and friends.

Joyce was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Reveley, who nurtured her gentle spirit. She drew love and support from her family, which served as her foundation throughout her remarkable life. Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rodgers “Buddy” Martin Oliver, with whom she shared countless joyous moments and enduring memories. She was also preceded by her two brothers, Horace Reveley and Flynn Rodgers Reveley, who were an integral part of her life’s journey.

Despite the heartache of loss, Joyce's legacy is beautifully woven into the lives of those she leaves behind. She is survived by her loving son, Michael Oliver, and his caring wife, Terese. Her devoted daughter, Tricia Oliver, finds solace in the treasured memories they created together. The joy of her life extended deeply with her cherished grandson, Josh Rodgers Oliver, who illuminated her days with laughter and love. Joyce is also survived by her nephew, Ryan Reveley, and cousin Tim Odom, both of whom held a special place in her heart. Additionally, she leaves behind many other truly special family members and wonderful friends who meant so much to her throughout her life.

Joyce's life will be celebrated during funeral services held at Smith Family Funeral Home, located at 8801 Knoedl Ct. in Little Rock. The service will take place on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., preceded by a visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Joyful remembrances of her extraordinary life will be shared, led by Dr. Joel Anderson, as family and friends gather to honor her spirit.

Following the funeral, Joyce will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at 16th Section Cemetery in Lonoke County, with a graveside service occurring at 1:30 p.m. Her memory will be carried forth by pallbearers Jimmy Beck, David Brewer, Scott Brewer, Steve Fisher, and Randy Neill, while honorary pallbearers include cherished former teammates of Josh.

The family of Joyce is grateful for the loving care she received from Dr. Brian Bell, Dr. Christopher Bierman, LifeTouch Health - Arkansas Hospice, and the staff at Arkansas Hospice Ottenheimer Inpatient Center (CHI St. Vincent). The family expresses special gratitude to caregivers Summer Brown and Rose Dickey for their compassionate support.
