Joyce Dean McCaskill Palla passed away on October 9, 2015 in Manchester, Arkansas. Joyce was born in Gurdon, Arkansas on August 31, 1935. Joyce loved life and she loved her friends and family. She loved being involved in the Arkadelphia community and Arkansas in any way she felt she could be helpful to all people. A few of the organizations that she enjoyed participating with included the Economic Development Corporation of Clark County, Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy, Clark County Democratic Party, Clark County Democratic Women, Rotary International and was a member of the Master Gardener's. Joyce was a member of the Arkadelphia First Presbyterian Church.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Milton Palla, her brothers, Charles McCaskill, Virgil McCaskill, James Allen McCaskill and Johnny McCaskill and one sister, Sue Hughes.

Joyce is survived by her two sons, Stan Palla and David Palla, daughter in law, Connie Palla: grandchildren, Morgan Noren , Brandon Palla, Whitney Palla, Angela Borden and John Palla; great grandchildren, Mia Noren, Luke and Austin Borden; sisters, Alice Dickey, Wanda Hamm and Vicki Stevenson and a host of nieces and nephews; Jim Caver, close friend.

A Celebration of Life service will be 11:00 am Monday, October 12th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia with Dr. Lewis Shepherd officiating. Interment will be in Atchley Cemetery in Dalark. Visitation will be 3-5 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
