Joyce H. Steen, 95, passed away November 6, 2019 in Alabaster, Alabama. Born in Staffordshire, England to William and Mary Elizabeth Gilbert, she was a member of the Pelham First Baptist Church and a former member of Woodlawn Baptist Church of Little Rock.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas E. Steen, son, John Brent Steen, brother, Jack Gilbert, sister, Lily Kelsall and grandson, Douglas Starr, she is survived by daughters, Linda McCombs and Mary VanHouten; grandchildren, Michael Starr, Laurie Roth, Mary Beth Weldon, Blake Satterfield, Tanya Steen Garrett, Johnathan Steen, Jackie Steen and Paula Allen, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be today, Saturday, November 9 at 1:30 p.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
