Joyce Annabell Bryant

Joyce Annabell Bryant of Ward, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021, in Searcy. She was born August 23, 1945 to Nathan and Ruth (Gilmore) Stanley in Des Arc, and was raised in Brown Grove.

Joyce was retired from home health care.  She was a member of Joy of the Lord Church.  She loved fishing, camping, hiking, cooking, playing in the snow and singing gospel songs.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Bryant, daughter Melissa Bryant, son Ed Bryant, and grandson Keith Brown.

She is survived by two sons, Paul (Kathy) Bryant of Ward, Michael (Sharon) Bryant of Beebe; her daughter, Tamatha (John) Parr of Beebe; a dear beloved friend and companion Jim Dennis of Ward; nine grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; brothers James Stanley of Lexa and Jerry (Linda) Stanley of McRae; sisters Gladys (Terry) Turner of Humphrey, Mary (Elton) Hawkins of Morrilton; and Teressa (Jack) Cunningham of Killen, Alabama.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.  Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Walters Chapel Cemetery.  Please visit www.smithfamilycares/westbrook for online guest register.
