Judy Shaw

Listen to Obituary

Judy Shaw, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on October 23, 2026.

Johnny, her loving husband, was the love of her life. They were married on March 19, 1971, and built a beautiful life together. They loved to travel throughout the US together and make unforgettable memories.

Judy loved flowers and anything purple. She loved 60's and 70's music (these boots were made for walking). She enjoyed seeing her grandchildren, who were the other love of her life. She found joy watching them in school activities and doing the things that they love.

You could catch Judy on a Saturday with her senior black coffee, looking for the next yard sale. "Honestly!!" At the end of each day, she would return to her love of crime shows.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Johnny William Shaw (Bonnerdale, AR); Her son and his wife, Johnny Dewayne and Wendy Shaw (Royal, AR), her other son and his girlfriend, Darrell Dwight Shaw and Heather Fitzhugh (Bonnerdale, AR); Her daughter and her husband, Tina Marie and Jimmy Barker (Hot Springs, AR); Her brother, James Haley (Hot Springs, AR); her sister, Marti Reed (Arlington, TX); nine grandchildren, Joey Shaw, Brett Shaw, Kate Barker, Jamie Barker, Teddy Reed Shearer, Carley Shaw, Kinley Shaw, Austin Whitney, and Hannah Whitney; Great-grandchildren, Scarlett Marie Barthel and Hazel Grace Whitney.

She is preceeded in death by her mother, Emogean Reed; grandparents, Clara Matilda and Oscar Arlus Reed.

A Graveside Funeral will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hot Springs, AR at 3:00PM, with Greg Cowart oficiating.

All who knew Judy loved her. She blessed so many in life with grace, peace, and love. She will be missed by all who knew her.
