Julia Evelyn (Buck) Francis, age 84 of Arkadelphia, died peacefully in her sleep Sunday, March 10, 2013 at her home. She was born November 22, 1928 in Clark County, the daughter of the late Dock and Ruby Still Buck. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, R.W. Francis, three brothers, Dock Buck, Jr., Thomas Buck, and Ronald Buck and one son-in-law, Earl Garner.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother she leaves behind three
daughters, Betty and her husband Michael Zeamer of Spring, TX, Elizabeth Garner of
Arkadelphia, and Judy and her husband Bryan Mizell of Spring, TX; two sons, Dicky
and his wife Carolyn Francis, and Ricky and his wife Kathy Francis all of Arkadelphia;
one sister, Margaret and her husband William Key of Cleveland, TX; three brothers,
Ettris and his wife Joyce Buck of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Elwin and his wife Ruby Buck of
Willis, TX, and Donald and his wife Willie Buck of Kilgore, TX, one sister-in-law,
Carmen Buck of Houston, TX; two brothers-in-law, Clifton and his wife, Jackie Francis
of Hot Springs and Hugh and his wife, Judy Fendley of Arkadelphia, 15 grandchildren
and 22 great grand children as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 13,2013 in Ruggles-Wilcox
Chapel with Bro. John Small and Bro. Ray Franklin officiating. Grandsons and grand
sons-in-law will serve as pallbearers. Interment will be in Golden Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
