Justine Allen Wood, age 92, of Crossett, formerly of Arkadelphia died Saturday, April 13, 2013 in Crossett. She was born March 13, 1921 in Hot Spring County Arkansas the daughter of David W. and Ora Smith Allen. Justine was a member of Baring Cross Missionary Baptist Church in Arkadelphia.
Survivors are one son , Leslie Wood and wife, Carolyn of Arkadelphia; one daughter, Carolyn Hart and husband, George of Crossett; four grandchildren, Michelle Wood, Crystal Burnham, Lynnann Hart, Amy Baker and husband, Brian; seven great-grandchildren, Brantley Jarrell, Carson Burnham, Olivia Hart, Owen Hart, Paisley Baker Dayton Corley and Emilee Wood.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 16th in the Baring Cross Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Ronnie Hardin and Bro. Mike Griffith officiating. Burial will follow in DeRoche Cemetery near Bismarck. Visitation will be 10:00 AM Tuesday until service time at the church. Pallbearers will be Matt Burnham, Brantley Jarrell, Brian Baker, Dean Bosley, Perry Adams and James McGuire.
Memorials may be made to the Arkadelphia Senior Adult Center or to Baring Cross Missionary Baptist Church.
