J.W. Dunn

J.W. Dunn 94 of Hot Springs, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday morning April 20, 2019. J.W. was born on October 21, 1924 in Center Point, Arkansas. He loved to hunt, fish and travel. He was a great husband, father and pawpaw. J.W. worked at ABF for 37 years till his retirement in 1983.

J.W. is preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine; parents, Charlie and Hattie (Cole) Dunn, two brothers; Verl and Gerald Dunn. Survivors are his 2 daughters, Paula (Mark) Goforth of Fort Smith AR, Michelle Young of Hot Springs, AR. and son, Kevin Simmons of Hillsboro, MO. His beloved 6 grandchildren; 5 great- grandchildren; and 7 great-great- grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, along with a host of wonderful friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at Delamar Cemetery in Dallas County at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2019 with Brother Max Deaton officiating.

Pallbearers are Mark Goforth, Richard Dunn, Brian Dunn, Irwin Seal, Joel Young, and Eric Thomason. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Hospice staff of St. Vincent Hospital, Hot Springs Arkansas.
