J. Z. Forrester, 85, of Roland, passed away March 24, 2020. Born in Rupert, Arkansas to Henry Martin Forrester and Sleetie May Chew Forrester, he was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked for Central Distributors for twenty years and went on to retire from Safeway/Harvest Foods after another twenty years.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Margaret Dal Santo Forrester; siblings, Thurman, Hershel, Stevie, Otis Ray and Judy Forrester; several nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Alfred and LeRoy and 1 sister, Josephine.
Graveside services will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital, 1 Children's Way, Little Rock, AR 72202 or the American Red Cross, 2610 Shackleford Rd., Ste. B, Little Rock, AR 72205.
